any form of forced induction on a nitro engine is garbage. a nitro engine is similar in aspect to a 2 stroke engine which at any given point will never actually seal thus making boost useless. if you want to lean out and destroy your engine a stupidcharger is the way to go , hit up youtube for some funny vids of clowns with them.

Nitro engines love forced induction, look at Top fuel dragsters.2 strokes don't gain much though, you get a cleaner charge as the 'boost' pushes out all of the exhaust gas but that's about it.

Ran a blown schumacher xtr3e and it made marginal difference, but looked the business! :)

Not sure at 1:10 turbo would work at all because turbo at 1:1 scale spin at 100,000 rpm or more, the amount of heat and friction would destroy any cheap non cooling turbo within a few hrs. of driving. Maybe that is why turbo was never used in rc, except for supercharge in 4 stroke, which is more mechanical and rpm is much much lower.

As above, there has been some 4-stroke supercharger options available. If it was viable for a 2 stroke, Paris etc would have done it already. The smart money for more power seems to be leaning towards increased capacity.
