Monster Beetle, today one more piece

Recommended Posts

Years ago i've find in a very bad condition one MonsterBeetle; some parts missed, other incorrect. I've started a very slow refurbishing, and without any aspiration.

The first sight

an injured "old dog! ...

Immediately after the first treatment looked like this

The body isn't the MB original, black ABS seems from Blitzer beetle. The nose cone is probably original.

In recent years I have slowly recovered many parts of the MB and now I'm here...

Very nice mastino. I'm doing the same thing with a similar model. A vintage blackfoot.

Love the dukes of hazzard theme! :)

I would never have thought of a General Lee paint/decal scheme for a Monster Beetle. Looks good and I like the wheel & tyre combo. I'm envious that you still have the original front spotlight bar - that's one thing I'm missing on my Beetle restoration !

I thought everything that could have General Lee paintjob, did. I was wrong, and I love it.
