RcMadness74 24 Posted March 14, 2015 I have been looking for a Boomerang that wasn't going to break the bank and finally found what I was looking for. The body is in pristine shape, no paint, just stickers were applied. The car itself only has two parts that are broken, one on the rear bumper guard and a screw may be broken off in the front bumper. I have not tested it but by the looks of it this car was only run once or twice. The battery pack has been tucked in there for awhile, the wires have became very stiff. The tires are also not split but very hard. I will update with close up pictures as time allows.
kontemax 1723 Posted March 14, 2015 The Boomerang is the best! Use gliceryne for the tires, they will came back soft. Max
RcMadness74 24 Posted March 15, 2015 Is this the same as Glycerol? I just checked and the motor is missing, I bet it was something good, looks like it was freshly removed.
kontemax 1723 Posted March 15, 2015 Hi, the correct name is Glycerol but also Glycerin (not Gliceryne, sorry my fault, I'm not english mother tongue). Yes, you can use the cream for the skin of the hands. It works good on rubber. Concerning the motor the Boomerang can easy hangle 13 turns brushed motors without issues (but is insanelly fast). I suggest from 23 turns to 17 turns brushed motors (or brushless equivalent) with 13T steel pinion gear. Pinion gear must be steel because the original ones are butter.
