Tamiya high torque servo saver or Kimborough?

Hi,

I am looking to upgrade the servo saver on my DT03 - Neo Fighter Buggy.

I have found two Tamiya ones - 51000 in black and 50473 in white. Please can some advise on which is correct and best?

Also I think I have read that Kimborough make good servo savers but I am totally unsure which one would fit - they seem to make loads. If anyone could advise on that, thanks!

I fitted the black tamiya variant and haven't had any issues.

I have seen another member, XV pilot, recommend robbing the inner spring clip out of the Tamiya kit to fit in a normal saver, you get three in a kit so effectively upgrade 3 for the price of one.

Thanks I will try and find that. To be honest I don't really get what servo savers do!

It's to prevent the gears in the servo from stripping. In the past especially with std servos with plastic gears it was a common occurance for steering servos.
