Today I was able to get some pics of some Xray T1’s I’ve been working on. Several years ago I bought a pristine FK’05. I installed a Novak brushless motor system and a Futaba radio.

I ran it only once and it was so fast you couldn’t control it and even though it was an FM radio, I was getting glitching. Since I had another Xray T1 Runner that Shodog Jr. has now, it was never a priority to get it running right so it went into a box. Really the chassis was just too nice to run. A few months ago I picked up another FK ’05 off of ePay for $56. Plan now is to pull apart the chassis and drop in the electronics from the nicer FK’05.

For the shelf queen I’m painting an E30 M3 body.

What is the width of that E30 body?

The M3 body is an HPI 200MM body. It pairs nicely with the 3mm and 6mm offset Vattera wheels

Made some progress on my projects. I have been wanting to do an E30 M3 up in Miller Genuine Draft Livery for a while now. So I made copies of the decal sheets and mocked up the paint.

I sprayed some Tamiya Black and Gold and came up with this. I really like the way it's turning out.

I still want to add more decals like a number plate on the door and a few more sponsor decals
