tamiya cr tuned motor #54114

Brought this motor today in mistake for my grand hauler meant to order the tr tuned motor #56526

Will the cr motor work the same as the tr motor for the truck .

They are both torque tuned but the cr is 35 turn and the tr is 33 turn not a lot in it tbh

I don't see you having any problems with that motor. It will be slightly slower but the difference between a 35t vs. a 33t would be hardly noticed. In fact it could turn out better.

With the CR tuned being 35 turn, as opposed to the TR tuned being 33 turn, the CR should me marginally slower than the TR tuned...

HOWEVER.... I feel that a 35 turn would still be too fast for scale speed running of a 1/14 scale truck.. Many truck owners, myself included run 55 or more turn motors, with some opting for a smaller pinion gear as well to get a more realistic scale speed..
