Some time ago I saw this glorious Subaru Brat on this forum:

silverbratfunctional.jpg

My question is: which wheels and tires is this particular chassis equipped with? They appear to be a good size and tread for a Lancia Rally, and I am presently contemplating modern wheels and tires for such a car while maintaining some 'authenticity' and/or 'scale.' Are they still produced? If not, this search will take me elsewhere...

Any clarification would be greatly-appreciated! And thanks to the user whose name I had already forgotten for giving me inspiration, if not necessarily permission to use this picture again (sorry!).

The wheels look like Tamiya two-piece five spoke wheels with the centers painted red from this angle.

The tyres almost look like the tread pattern from the cross-country low rider setup, as found on the Porsche Cayenne too. But I don't have any of those to hand to confirm.

Think that's spot on.

Thanks for the spot! Would the Cayenne tires fit the wide or narrow versions of the 2-piece 5-spoke wheels? I wonder if the tires can fit 24 mm-wide rims; in that case some re-release 037 wheels may as yet work!

Edit: what if I just took some 2-piece 5-spoke wheels and cut up some re-release 037 wheels to replace the 5-spoke parts? :P It looks like said tires are at least 30 mm if not wider!
