Tamiya boxes - mini versions?

Hi All,

The impending arrival of my first child is forcing me to clear out the spare bedroom of all my accumulated "treasure" (or junk as the other half describes it) including my now huge pile of empty RC kit boxes

I'm sure I've seen somewhere on TC or maybe another RC site that someone made mini versions to display with their models?

Does this ring any bells for anyone?

I would love to get my hands on decent scans or reproductions of all 5 sides to print out and fold into models of the boxes - (I am aware of my sadness!)

Sounds really interesting. Have you got any photos of made up boxes?

The box is where the initial excitement for the kits comes from when you finally get it in your hands. Nothing sad about that. I've reused and repurposed many old kit boxes as I can't bring myself to toss them.

It may very well be sad but I think your In VERY good company. Is there somewhere we could upload these for people to make? They can't be against copyright as they are scale replicas?

If this is sad company, count me in! I love miniature items (kind of why I got into this hobby in the first place!) and would be a total sucker for a Lancia Rally version of these mini boxes

Just to let you all know I haven't produced these, but found them a while ago (can't remember where though!) and just thought I'd save them to make one day, although like most projects never quite sure when that day will arrive .
