OMG. Where have I been since this news came out? My first car and yes I will be explaining to my wife when this turns up in the mail once I order one. Fresh hold wheels on the market and nose cones,......on yay. The differences wil be interesting once someone receives one.

Forgot to add its a shame they didn't reserve 58600 for this one.....a simple play on the original 58060

getting close to 58 666, that should be at least a 1:5 monstertruck

Is it safe to assume there will be no ball bearings with the new kit?

If not then will it need the same set as the Brat/Frog?

I have an original new built, all custom and also have an original NIB.

I'm going to buy a re re to keep NIB.

I'm hoping they release an XB (RTR) soon after so I can put it up on the shelf with my new built, finished to Tamiya standards from the factory would be nice.

I too am hoping for an XB released version as well! :)

That's a bit odd (but good!) You would think it would appear in the far East first but as usual the UK gets them last (after all it does take time to load all the taxes vat sur-charges and tax on top of sur-charges on the items that come into our wonderful country!) Sorry lost it a bit their!

I bet every company on earth dreads launching a product over here with all the extra red tape we have. Surprised they even bother ;)

Seems a bit strange that there's no proper photo - they say they are having an issue loading a pic of the box, yet manage to upload multiple photos of a Pumpkin body a few hours later?

Usually we would see the manual to before its actually available? Im sure with ever one I got in last year or 2, the manual was out first before anyone had there hands on the kit. Usually on Tamiya USA first the manual.

i have never owned any monster style rc cars before, so this one looks like a great addition to my collection. the rear body looks to sit lower to the chassis, compared to the original that looked a little bare on the rear end.? I keep watching the original advertisement on you tube,

Just to stir things up but The Zoom Room here in Canada claims to have stock on the monster beetle. I might go there today, but it's a 3hr drive so no guarantees but some of the other Canadian members here might want to have a look.
