Two holes in the roof and two holes in the bonnet obviously used the sand scorcher molding not that it matters coz I still think it's the best re-re to date and one set of springs are gold colour will probably look good if you do it box art red which I'm in the process of doing!

Yup, the glass stops at the rear pillars. The rear window is wide open.

Bit rubbish, might be an idea to do some sort of rear interior with stuff on show and like net or mesh to window!

I will have a plastic square mesh to go on window of my scorcher like they have on real cars to stop stuff coming in I guess when no windows?

Finally ordered one, from Norwegian shop in Japan, tamiya Expert :-) did get a great price including shipping, but must wait until the release in Japan 14. November.

I quite like the rear window wide open. A Beetle of this type wouldn't have rear glass, probably not even side glass. Hot Rods have loads of glass missing.

I love the wheels and tyres.....I am going to paint the body though...I hate naked plastic. I will wet & dry it....then grey primer it....then 2 coats of red (maybe Italian red) ...then stickers....then a sprayed clear coat or just leave it.....detailing will be airbrushed....like My Blitzer Beetle is...matt black rubber etc.

I read about some people's concerns over the re-release compared to the original....but that doesn't bother me. I will enjoy it as it is.....a fun good looking Beetle! ;)

Shame they couldn't just include full glass, original shocks and leave it with frog type dog bones to compensate the extra cost, I might have bought one if they had,

I suppose good time to get an original

Am I missing something when I'm reading the person who's put 4 monster beetle bundle's for a £1000 each on eBay and he only has 3 available! I don't get it bizarre???

Lol time...

JUST got an email that my re release MB is in stock, will take up too four days to process...

Whats that all about then??!?!?

It's already built, run, and dirty!!!!

I've got a problem with the gearbox of my MB 2015 its perfect if the drive shafts are straight nice & smooth but if they are at an angle it's like its about to explode it vibrates like mad?, I've had the gearbox apart about a dozen times and its perfect and if you just push it smooth as anything the drive shafts are totally free aswell I can't see anything that is visibly wrong with it I've spent more time with this than I have building it! Baffling me???

Oh Dear...I hope that isn't a glitch for every kit??!!

My Novafox was supplied with 2 similar thickness bevel gears, when the manual showed it should have 2 different thickness bevel gears.

Are the parts the right ones? Tamiya has made Quality Control errors in the past!

Yeah as far as I can see everything goes together perfect and when you just push it its totally smooth but powered by the motor and the drive shafts at an angle it vibrates really bad!

Mine runs great, there is some slop in the gears and such until you get it all tightened down... Idk if that's part of your problem, just something I experienced w my build...

If you remove the driveshafts from the diff outdrives and power the motor, does it still vibrate? That might give you some idea if it's the gearbox or the driveshafts. Also, are you sure the tires are correctly seated on the wheels?

I did try the gearbox without the drive shafts and it was perfect!,if I take some of the slack off the suspension so the drive shafts are not at an angle everything perfect so my thoughts are something driveshaft related but for the life of me I can't see anything catching or touching I'm running it without the rubber boots on so I can see everything running (and it does look better IMO)

Have you run it up with the rear wheels removed ? See if you feel vibration holding the chassis with the suspension hanging and no wheels fitted.

      Hi Jon,
In the linked image, I've simply moved the bar forward until it is centered directly over the rear shock tower (approx. 10.72mm) and kept the same height.  Is this what you had in mind?

      Hello
      Hope you are well
Are still manufacturing the gear box clamp for Monster Beetle?
Can they be fitted with a rear anti roll bar?
      Thank you for your help
      Kind regards
