bjorklo 1620 Posted October 27, 2015 Made some fine adjustments to the upper and lower CF decks to manage to fit the front gear housing.
bjorklo 1620 Posted October 28, 2015 Mounted the gearbox cover and the lower CF part for holding the rear rods( what Are they really called?) i did spend some time adjustment the belts. To be honest I'm not sure i like all these belts, better with gears :-P Think i will have to trim the CF part, to make it look better.
bjorklo 1620 Posted October 29, 2015 Done allot of building today i had to Do allot of fine adjustments to both the upper and lower CF deck to make the front suspension fit correct. Need to make a new steering bridge cause the design on this one don't fit.
bjorklo 1620 Posted October 30, 2015 Made a new steering bridge today and continued with the build, not much left before the car is a roller. pretty strange the anti-roll bar it's no way to mount the ball onto the wire. That said i have gotten some tip on Facebook that i need to solder it onto the wire, so i guess i will give it a try
bjorklo 1620 Posted November 1, 2015 Not much done, just made a new wing wire update: got a little bit more done today, had to re do the wing wire, but still not happy with it. Also mounted motor, but i need a pinion for the motor. I would say i need allot of different pinions and gears for the car if I'm going to race it. I also mounted the front anti-roll bar on the bottom of the upper deck, this is better but i have to have a look on the steering now and figureout a way to it not touching the anti-roll bar mounts. This is not a problem all the time but could be, i think with adding one more spacer to lower the steering brigde would help.
bjorklo 1620 Posted November 2, 2015 Getting there now, and looking incredible. You've got to love the design details on these old Euro-buggies. Dorvack. Thanks Dorvack! Yeah, i really like this one, but as i mention in an earlier post, I'm not sure about the belts if i like that. But if they don't jam or something like that when I'm running the car, then I'm ok with em
bjorklo 1620 Posted November 8, 2015 Have finished the chassis, only missing a servo post and the pinion. Will start working on the shell, hope to finish it soon
bjorklo 1620 Posted November 10, 2015 I got the 5 different pinions i ordered, and the one to fit best was the 15 tooth one. How this will be running I'm not sure about. I have ordered a Quicrun1060 esc to use, not gonna spend to much money on the electronics. But come to think about it, i must have an esc without reverse if I'm gonna use it in the nordic vintage challange race, hmmm
MadInventor 3884 Posted November 11, 2015 Have finished the chassis, only missing a servo post and the pinion. Will start working on the shell, hope to finish it soon These pictures look fantastic, if not for the scuffed bumper they could be factory promo shots. The car looks great, it certainly doesn't look like the 20yr old design that it is.

I'm very pleased with how it turned out, I actually just got a new front bumper that i will mount during the weekend. My problem now is, I'm so extreamly pleased with how it turned out, so I'm not sure that I will run it. I guess i should since that was the plan, at least some runs.
