My TRF 801X

As the weather is not great means I cannot get any work done on any of my real car projects I decided to take my NIB TRF 801X out of the storage. First glance there are so many parts more so compared to my 1/8 TXG MKI kit I built some 18 years ago.

Will post pictures of the build process. I have seen some others build thread and they take huge anount of pictures for every little step I will try and keep it to the point :)

I'm am watching this with great interest.

These are awesome cars, Will it be nitro powered (my favorite) or brushless?

So finally after almost 3 years when I started the build... I decided to get back to it.. here it is almost completed - Just need to install steering and throttle/brake linkeage and fuel pipes.

You know, I had a nagging feeling that was the case!  Glad to see it's built.  It really looks nice with that engine and pipe.

Shame Tamiya discontinued these cars they just feel so well made.... is the truggy a lot longer and wider?

I wouldnt say ALOT wider and longer but they do have different chassis, arms, and drive shafts/univerals.
