The Midnight Pumpkin Ford monster truck was my 1st Tamiya. I thought about opening a thread so you guys can share a picture of your alternate paintjobs for this classic vehicle. The first one I had was boxart, then I got a blue one, and now I was wondering I can maybe get another body to try something interesting. So far I think the model truck below looks pretty good. Might give it a try... someday.

You ever tried anything different than box-art paintjobs with your Ford MP trucks? If so, care to share a picture of it?

You all have a great Sunday! :)

I want to get my kids a MP each.

Already have lexan shells, just need to hit the button on the kits.

Anyway, I want to do a Madusa inspired theme for my daughter, and Iron Man for my son.

Have too many shells to paint, so I should start knocking some out. :o

My brother in law did a Halloween inspired MP with Pumkin Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas driving. These are the best photos I have of it.

Love the color! Comes to show that sometimes less is more.

My first RC too, 26 years ago. I sprayed it blue rather than black, and left some of the decals off. Still got it - pic below.

Got a new CW-01 I'm about to start building. It's a Unimog but I've just finished a custom Lunchbox shell for it, so I might as well get another Pumpkin body to go on it too. Got some ideas for non-boxart paint on that. ;)

What I think would look cool is get a chrome version body and candy coat it with the transparent clear colored spray pants.

I bet it would look awesome!

I've thought about doing that. I do have the Chrome pumpkin body. I just don't have the courage to spray it.

Berman, how did you get those ****** old looking lights on the slammed vegetable? Are you using those old fashioned bulbs from the 1890s, or have you coloured the lenses in some way?
