Love the colour in the sun. How did you manage to get consistency with the translucent red? Is it obvious when it's got enough paint on there? Or are you spraying and praying?

I done a test run on a spare bit of lexan..

Two nice full coats of red

Same of gun metal

And black

I looked up against the light to see what the coverage was like

Does look amazing buddy!

I'm kind of regretting the body lines I did on mine now :( Looks OK from a distance, but they're very uneven up close. It will be a good excuse to run it though I guess!

+1 on that paint job and color choice. Amazing skill in the even paint app especially since it looks like you're using just a can instead of an airbrush. looking forward to the remaining build and completed model

Holy bejeesus !! That came out sweet! Nice work...! Reminds me of a 350Z I did a while back...translucent orange backed by copper then silver...!

Will you leave the spoiler glossy or Matt it out? I'm just partial to the mat black on plastics.

It was a satin with the ps paint. I decided to clear it so I think it will stay shiny.. Easy to change at a later date if needed.
