TA02 SW Porsche GT2 re release Build

Recommended Posts

Wow, stunning build, the paint on that shell is amazing! I have started using marker pens a lot now as my painting skills suck if I'm honest, the only thing I find with Sharpies is that aren't actually black, more purple, but Pentel marker pens are black and have smaller nibs too.

I used a pico switch for my LED's so that I can use my 3rd channel to turn them on and off from the radio.

Ok LED.

I use 100ohm resistors and various sized LEDs from Bright Components

I plug in to the BEC signal form the spare receiver channel.

Never had any issues

I solder all joints and wire in parallel .. And I find black electrical tape holds it all on place nicely

Nice work, bonus points for using heatshrink. I also like to use those red jst connectors for low current power connections. I prefer to fix leds in place using hot glue (does not seem to melt body, does not even seem to affect paint)

you should used the Porsche GT3 light buckets... it would make it way better than reamer. :-(

Looks awesome there fella. You've obviously got more trust in the youths near you - I have to find somewhere quiet to run my models as the kids are really destructive around here and it doesn't matter to them whose property gets damaged!

especially like the iron maiden theme music. Solid makes me think of my 1986 nostalgia posters. Lol

Sweet nostalgic video!

here's mine, didn't spend much on the body parts - just buckets and exhaust both from Tamiya

the grills are see through, did some manual masking

The lights, signals...blinkers are all masked and spray with transparent red and orange.

here's the exhaust they are slanted at an angle.
