Clodbuster Sway Bar

I'm keen to put a sway bar on my standard chassis clod, can't seem to find any pics or threads on the subject. Has anyone had any success in this area?

I've never heard of using sway bars on a stock Clod. With the stock suspension arms, I can't see sway bars being of any value. Now with a 4 link, yeah.

Sorry I should have mentioned that I'm running a stock chassis but modded everything else, four link, rear lock out, axle mounted servo etc etc.

I run them on my Clodzilla 2 chassis, after a fair bit of digging around I found an old racers blog on Clodtalk where he showed how he made his from wire coat hangers.

After bending them to the right shape he popped them into a really hot oven for 10 minutes then quenched them to get the stiffness he wanted, I found mine were just fine after bending so didn't bother.

Thanks Tony, I'm going to look for some wire this week and start fashioning some sway bars :-)

I've seen some traxxas ones on ebay and was wondering if I could make those fit with a bit of fabrication
