How did you make the net? It looks like it would suit my apocalypse Blackfoot windows!

I am still deciding which to used, the white one are hobby craft materials which was cut into shape...

Sliver and black are from Gardening D.I.Y. Shop :-)26817c84f333c17d56ec2db63488fd49.jpg

stole some lego pieces from my son's toy box lol.

did a 180 degrees steering mod... not sure if the driver's hands and arms can articulate 360 lol...

easy mod... lego and some gears and shaft from mini-4wd

Steering mod expose lol! Simple design with 2 gears and a shaft for 180degrees, you can do 360 degrees or more by using another shaft and gears..

Just fitted the steering mod on the defender's dash....

Use a brass tube to run the shaft then mount the servo behind it..

had to replace my steering wheel servo as it's a tad big, so used an Corona's CS238MG, these are tiny enough to be hidden behind the dashboard. only problem is the servo needed to be reverse manually so re-soldered the wires internally.

and test the servo and sync steering and steering wheel.

Getting a bit freaky lol! Don't you think it's fitting?!

Need to do the hands.... One on the steering and the other on the shifter...

First try successful... ROBO CowBoy!

but need more tweaking ... deciding if the steering arm should be the left/right...

and the body will move if not belted..properly... good for scale?

So happy my mini hinges arrived... From first glance it's the same size as the door hinges on the defender 110 side doors!

Will be back home tonight to compare the size!
