I thought it was the nose cone of an F1 car at first but the position of the body clips got me looking at closed cockpit cars.

I will post a new pic later.

Dang; I was going to upload an even more ambiguous picture of my beloved TA-04 just now! Thanks, though!

That is a tricky one! I don't even know what I am looking at, let alone what car it belongs to. Is it part of the bodywork?

Yes it is a holiday buggy. Easy once you know what you are looking it. It is the rear body clip thingy.

Your turn Wooders.

My first guess was going to be a trans-am.

There's enough obscure bits of that laying about in every room of the house!

I don't recognise that lower shock cap design. Are we looking at a non-Tamiya?

It doesn't have to be Tamiya or vintage, it can be any RC car past or present.

The colour of the gearbox plastic also suggests Kyosho, but as for which one, I don't know - yet. More research required...

Looks like the thread has a real challenge now! I was going to guess DT-02 otherwise :P

It reminds me of Marui, but I'm not sure which one at the moment. Shogun or Melling Thunderbird.

Correct!

Marui Coors Thunderbird

I thought the adjustable rod for off road / on road would be a clue.

Ah! I was also thinking Kyosho Outrage RTR at first, as it has grey plastics, yellow shocks and no anti roll bar. But the gearbox looks different. Now we know why!

So well done Mr Fruitfly. Your turn!
