Hotshot, Boomerang etc?

They're like ballbearings but they work for co-axial load rather than axle loads. eg the bevel gear 'pushes' against them.

Looks like thrust ball races used in the crown gear for the cars based on the Hot Shot 4WD drive train (Super Shot, Boomerang, Bigwig etc). The crown gear is a bevelled gear, with a mounting for the prop joint on the flat side of the bevel, with four posts that hold the thrust bearing in place. The thrust bearings go where the prop joint mounts into the bevelled crown gear - the shaft of the prop joint goes throught the gearbox casing, then through the thrust bearing then into the crown gear. An 850 bearing goes into the small end of the bevel gear, so the bevel gear runs on the thrust bearing and the 850.
