Need an ESC recommendation for a Fox

Gents,

My vintage Fox is going to be a runner, so I need ESC recommendations. The wire connectors have to be long to connect with the motor and I'm not sure what stock ESC came with the Novafox.

I'll be running a brushed motor due to heat issues, so can anyone recommend me a cost effective solution?

Just about any ESC will work except for the wire length issue - but that's better sorted on the motor side. I recently saw someone use a pair of bullet-connector M-F wire extenders that worked without soldering. The stock silver cans from the re-re Bullhead / Clod and I think are the same as for the Novafox have longer wires attached right out of the box, for just this purpose.
