How to cut carbonfiber tubes

Hello,

I´ve found some carbonfiber tubes in my flat.

I don`t know where they are from but i want to use them for strenghten the thin steering rods in my Clodbutster.

Do anyone could recomend me how to cut These tubes?

Maybe tape the cutline before cutting?

PS: I have no dremel....

I just cut them with a fine hacksaw. Might be a good idea to put some tape round it to stop it splitting, and put superglue on the end afterwards.

Try not to breathe in the dust - it can't be good for you...

I would use a hacksaw, and keep the cut area wet to reduce the CF dust whilst cutting.. But that is me..

A dust mask might also be a good idea as well..

But now i`m aware of the risk.
