Speed gear set for ww2?

Was surfing eBay and saw a speed gear set for ww2. Has anyone tried this, if so how was performance and durability?

I have been told that the high speed gear sets for the M chassis cars are not as durable as the stock kit gears... I don't know if its the same for the WW2 High speed gear sets, but with the WW2 being an off-road vehicle, this is something that you may want to consider..

I just put a 9 turn EZ-Run brushless setup in my WW2..

Its all the power and speed that I could ever need..

Well I have several kits pretty much one of every kit available. Was thinking pairing this with a sport tuned would pick up the speeds to just under stupid.

I'd just fit farm king rear wheels and tires. They are a larger diameter, you will go faster without increasing the rotational speed of all the transmission components. As backlash said, the best way to go fast is to drop in a brushless motor .

I put a arrma 15 turn motor in mine and it's crazy!

don't need speed gears in the WW2 any motor faster than stock makes it crazy!

Pinions turned up today but it will be a while before I get it fitted.

Allows 23 and 25 pinions so it should be easy to work out theoretical speeds

First WW2 I had was set up with a 9x1 brushed motor and a Novak Super Rooster. HPI 5 2.2 monster SS rims and Pro Line Speed Hawgs. Wrestler action figure for a driver, and mini beer cans all over the interior. Driver had one in his left hand too. It was stupid fast, and nearly uncontrollable, so I went with a Wide Willy mod.

Less awful is about the best way to describe it. Flipped the wheelie bar over, but that created another problem. It was powerful enough to basically Ollie like a skateboard.
