Cheap ESC for new Monster Beetle?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend a cheap (preferrably waterproof) ESC for a new Monster Beetle.

I would normally just get one that comes with a deal but I'm looking to save a few quid. Also, I wouldn't want to faff about about changing connectors and stuff.

Thanks.

Looks like a cheap copy. I would pay £3 more and get the real thing

Not sure - some of the listing symptoms on ebay don't stay whether they do or don't. I know Modelsport and Goldstarstockists are selling a kit without ESC for £120.

Duratrax Intellispeeds have worked pretty well for me on runners for brushed. Good power, only issue is a high pitch whine...

But if waterproof is a priority I've run one of these and it's worked well. Mine has a Tamiya connector... can't recall if it came with it or I installed it...

Another vote for hobbywing 1060. auto programming, stoopid proof lipo/nimh and f/b/r mode changes, waterproof, and cheap!
