TamTom 367 Posted December 24, 2015 Dang those Fighting Buggies are great! They did really all the blisters like they did with the vintage kits. WOW! I want build this one and run it but seeing all the blisters, I think I must get another one and keep it NIB.

XV Pilot 1936 Posted December 25, 2015 Me, I was fortunate to receive not just one but two limited edition Grasshoppers - the black one and the green one! Not only that - each one came with a servo, receiver and bearing kit, so there is nothing getting in the way of starting the builds! I love my wife!!!!

Frog Jumper 3661 Posted December 25, 2015 $50 gift certificate to our LHS... Thanks Mom! Terry
berman 5315 Posted December 26, 2015 Nothing for me, I didn't want anything, just wanted my daughter to enjoy her first Christmas and the whole family has spoilt her rotten. Although Dad is going to have to invest in shares in the Energizer factory with the amount of Fisher Price and Leap Frog toys she got, because I've already told mummy she isn't allowed to pilfer the rechargeables out of Daddy's radios!!!! :O

berman 5315 Posted December 27, 2015 Scalextric set!................... with a nice mk1 escort RS Now on the hunt for more track, cars hop ups etc etc Honestly, I have never been a scaletrix fan, but everytime I go into my LHS I don't half want to walk out with a handful of their cars! I'm not sure how much their chasis' have changed since I was a kid, but my goodness the bodies are a delight! Yes the mk1 escort rally cars are on form! The 70s muscle cars, the Aussie V8s, the modern super cars, the 60s McLarens etc, even the racing trucks! I must admit I did want to walk out with the Monster truck set! Scaletrix has all the bases covered!
werewolf 72 Posted December 27, 2015 Got me a Kumamon Buggy and all the necessary hop-ups to participate in the DT-02 event in 2016
RushRebel 98 Posted December 28, 2015 Santa finally brought me a Hotshot, and it's been a long time coming. The model must be in a newer production run since it came with the brushless esc as well as an extra set of steering hubs. Heck, it may have even more extra parts, but I haven't had the chance to really go through the kit yet. Next year is gonna be hectic, so I'll be taking my time on this build. Can't decide if it'll be box colors or a tribute to the General Lee.

Wooders28 4723 Posted December 28, 2015 Nothing RC related, unless an Internet/DAB radio counts,as it's going into the garage for working on project music. Nothing for me, I didn't want anything, just wanted my daughter to enjoy her first Christmas and the whole family has spoilt her rotten. Although Dad is going to have to invest in shares in the Energizer factory with the amount of Fisher Price and Leap Frog toys she got, because I've already told mummy she isn't allowed to pilfer the rechargeables out of Daddy's radios!!!! :O Wish I'd told mummy the same! I'm sure Fisher price have a deal with the battery companies!! Its her 1st birthday in 2 weeks,so I'll need to stock up,as all my controllers are now empty. Scalextric set!................... with a nice mk1 escort RS Now on the hunt for more track, cars hop ups etc etc Keep eyeing those sets up, I am sure I've still got a rally mini clubman and stock cars that spun 360 somewhere! Also TCR sets, but they where tiny. Can't decide if it'll be box colors or a tribute to the General Lee. Box colours, then get a '69 charger body and do the full thing.Hope you can still get the decals! I got the HPI one and decals, but it's 1/8 scale.
Pintopower 1456 Posted December 28, 2015 Well I rarely ask for anything RC for Xmas...however my daughter really wanted a Hornet (in my mind anyway) so Daddy built her one....even though she is 4 months old: She also got what she wanted which of course was a massive pile of spent wrapping paper: I also bought her this a few weeks ago though I wont be giving it to her for a few years. I have some upgrades planned for it but it is a vintage 1964 Easy Bake Oven. My wife has been playing with it since I got it. The cat also came away with something good: All in all a great Christmas!

Its her 1st birthday in 2 weeks,so I'll need to stock up,as all my controllers are now empty. Oh I can tell mummy, but she would just sit there emptying them in front of me with a smug "and what are YOU going to do about it?..." look on her face. So I am off to bunnings/mitre10 today to get a 20-40pk of AA's! Haha @ Pintopower, kids and paper, same with my 9 month old, rips a bit of wrapping off, and starts trying to eat it Dad being childish with the scorched almonds tehehe :green:
Crash Cramer 617 Posted December 29, 2015 Well, I hope no little kiddies are looking at this so Santa's identity isn't revealed, but oh well, can't stop 'em. I didn't get much in the way of RC or toys for Christmas, never seem to as I suspiciously think that all my family thinks I am too old to play with those toys. I just do my own shopping, so I guess I get Christmas all year long. I DID get the BTTF trilogy on Blu-Ray, so I can't fully complain now can I???? I did buy the pooch a toy. It was a toss up between calling it Crush or Squirt from Nemo, but since it didn't last all that long, we left it at Crush as in Murray had CRUSHED Crush. Enjoy and Happy New Year.
