Dear Friends,

Firstly, Happy New Year!

I purchased this a short while back to restore. Now, going by some of the cars on the forum, it's probably not as perfect. However, having given it a clean, put the original electrics in, I think that it's a nice little runner. I wasn't sure how to set the speed controller up properly, as am used to the electric variant. I was going to repaint the shell etc. but have purchased a Grasshopper and Hornet I'm going to help my nephew with.

The car has new tyres, and I have greased most of the joints and comes with a 40mhz controller.

I hope someone can find some joy in playing with this.

I was hoping to achieve £70 plus postage.

Just not a great seller. I sold two almost identical, ball-raced versions last year to the same buyer, with ESCs and steering servos, silver can motors for £120 Inc postage - for both!

Sadly just one of those models which isn't so rare yet.

Thanks for sharing your experiences with me.....It really does seem that way. It's a shame as it's a really clean car and could look really good in a collection. I'll give it until the weekend then Ebay!!
