I have just finished building my Christmas presents (a pair of limited-edition Grasshoppers) and I have also recently finished a FF-03 Civic that was on-going from last year, so I won't be buying any more cars for a while. When I do though, it will likely be a CR-01 or XV-01.

I am also rather liking the action videos of RC cars that were shot from quadcopter-mounted cameras, so I am also saving for a Latrax Alias quad and camera module.

Well sold the Wild One, so thought it was worth trying a CC-01. As ever i doubled the kit price with hop-ups :( and today i decided to buy the parts for a MF-01X chassis project.

No more buying... actually done quite a bit of selling more than anything!

Have two tractor trucks to finish, paint and sticker a boomerang, paint and sticker a Big Bear, paint and find stickers for a Bruiser, start my new Clod Buster body set to replace the busted one...

Not buying anything for a while, except maybe an RC4WD Blazer body. Maybe. Haven't decided yet. Was considering a re-re Optima, but I'm going to wait until the end of the year and see if a Javelin appears.

Have a cool scratch-build idea that may or may not involve hacking up a perfectly good M05, and a new-from-parts Futaba FX10 to build, but other than that, just waiting for the summer so I can run stuff.

I'm with markbt73. I was all set to buy an Optima at first chance but decided to sit back and wait for a possible Javelin release. Painting the Optima body would have given me nightmares and I do love the Jave's orange roll cage. In the meantime, I broke down and got an Egress re-re now that Tower reduced the price a bit.

Next in my build queue is a TRF801X nitro buggy and a TB EVO 6. I'm thinking about buying an Associated TC6.2, Kyosho Optima, and RJ Speed Legends sedan, but there's no urgency around these purchases. The Optima probably interests me the most - such a pretty chassis.

Recently finished my Tundra Highlift, and are now gathering parts for a custom E-maxx build. Apart from that I have a rere Monster Beetle and a Black edt. Lunch Box waiting in line.

I started on my Brat #58384 back in late 2011. I always start my builds with the most tedious part...the body work. Well I made the mistake of slapping on several coats of TS-8 Italian red. However I didn't spray on a proper base/primer beforehand. It didn't turn out to well needless to say, live and learn. I have a Chrome Clod I want to sticker up with the original Clod #58065 decals and install some yellow C.V.A dampers #50304, still looking for those atm. There's also a Re re MB and an Agrios in the build queue...I really need to finish that Brat first though.

currently there is nothing on the build table for me, a hilux high lift jumped the line on my account at my LHS, which is followed by a metallic midnight pumpkin and black LB, with my second lowride and metallic pumpkin after that

I have just finished doing my monster beetle and next in the line is a metallic special hornet I have had since August last year, other kits that have been built between buying this and the MB are a Durga, Hotshot and a WT01N Amarok. Next on the buy list is a super hotshot, Wild one and I have a Schumacher SV2 Pro to build at some point.

I would not recomend the Alias, I had one and had bad luck with it, enough said

I started building my full operation MAN TGX over the Christmas holidays, without realising just how many chassis parts need painting before they can be assembled. I have a spray booth in the garage but I'm having real trouble with dust, plus it's really hard to get enough heat in there to paint at this time of the year. I now can't go any further until I've done some painting, which I consider to be the time-consuming, labour-intensive, utterly soul-destroying part of RC building. I'm considering boxing the whole thing up and coming back to it in the summer (when, no doubt, I'll be far too busy with events and house renovation to do RC projects! :D )

Still got an Asterion and a Landfreeder in their respective boxes, plus a re-re Fox, although I'm not sure I'll ever get around to that one. But on the other hand I find myself tempted by yet another Grasshopper. I can't remember how many re-re GHs I've owned, all I know is I've never actually built one and always end up selling them on, usually in pieces. Naturally, it's far more exciting to hit Add To Cart on a new kit box than to grab an old one down off the shelf and start building.

Other live builds in progress:

Maverick Scout to Budget Bruiser via TCS X-Trail chassis - started this week, should be a real quick project since most of it is all there ready to go, just need to trim the 4-links down, make some chassis braces and mount the body

TLT/Pede Bowler Wildcat - needs interior, better body mount and softer springs. And maybe better tyres. Started this last-minute and worked flat out at the expense of all my other hobbies, in order to take part in a local Dakar event last year, which with a week to go got postponed to a day when I wasn't free with absolutely no warning or reason given by the organisers, so I sort of lost interest in it and put it to one side

Skyline Drifter - finally got around to finishing this last week, managed to get enough heat into the paint booth to (badly) finish off the spoiler that hadn't been painted properly previously due to low temps and excess moisture. So at last that's done. Will take some photos and get it into my showroom sometime when I've got a free day and the sun's out.

F150 CC01 - been on hold for about 18 months now, really need to crack on and finish this, I'm getting CC01 withdrawal

Blown '57 project - again, over a year old, got bored once I realised I had to make a full interior. This one could drag on for years but it's impossible to pick up while I've got truck parts everywhere.

Robbe Jeep on Losi MRC - another long-time project, not actually too much more to do on this one, just need the space on my workbench to do it

Racing Clod on TVP and 4s Lipo power - got all the bits to do this now, this could be a real quick project once the Budget Bruiser is done

Wild Dagger - I've owned a box of bits for years but haven't had a monster truck of any sort for far too long. Another real quick project if I find myself with a spare day. Would like an original Blackfoot shell on it tho.

Many many more random projects hanging around that need starting/finishing too, I really, really, really need to finish a few before I start any more new ones or buy any more cars...

I would not recomend the Alias, I had one and had bad luck with it, enough said

or not - what exactly was the issue with it..?

I have a CC01 to finish, a WT01N to build, my drift-spec MF01X needs a bodyshell...

I also bought a new body for my GT2 Porsche (not happy with old one) and a couple of bodyshells which I don't even have a chassis for yet.

Now I'm thinking I might build a second TA03R-S out of bits for the second GT2 body.

Trouble is, I'm running out of places to hide this stuff. Previously it was all hidden away in my daughters' nursery (she still sleeps in our bedroom) but soon she'll be going into the big room - AAAAgh!

Oh and I also spent some money unintentionally this last week by reversing my hire car into a post. I'm so angry at myself.

Bought nothing since the monster beetle in October last year! There's nothing that floats my boat so to speak at the moment (which is very unusual for me!) I did sell my mud blaster a few weeks ago and got absolute peanuts for it and it was in fantastic condition so I'm still a bit annoyed at that!, lessons to be learned their don't sell on eBay anymore!. for now im keeping my pennies for my optima when it's released and I have some mint condition turbo optima rims to put on it which will make it look even cooler that it already is, can't wait!!!!.

I'm hoping to get this weekend off to finally finish my FuzzBox. Then I can start either the Brat or the NSR500. Though I can't stop thinking about a custom Lowride Pumpkin...

Built a Vajra, GF01, aero avante and WT01 over xmas. The first three aren't painted yet but shells are trimmed. Waiting for warmer weather and longer daylight hours! The Vajra needs a better servo which is on backorder.

Still to build; 2 hornets, 1GH green edition, Bruiser runner, Avante BS and finish a WT01N.

Also need to paint mountain rider shell and various other shells. I built up a Valentines day Mad Bull which will be getting raided for parts for a Hornet hybrid project!

Also want to refresh upgrade a Bullhead bought from ebay a few years back.

Not much on the building front, I have a few that need painting, Mk1 Kamei Golf (not looking forward to that!) and a Mk2 Golf GTI shell mounted on an FF-01 chassis, think this will be white with black details to mirror a friends Mk2. Not really had decent enough weather for painting at the moment, well that's my excuse anyway!

I also need to re-attach the home-made exhaust on my Maisto Beetle, I've tried various glues and tapes, may have to just drill and screw it on.

Only thing I've built recently is a Lego Ferrari F40 (as on the Lego thread) and parts of that frustrated the a**e off me, so perhaps I'm better off away from the hobby knife and screwdrivers......

Currently restoring original wild Willy bought in October In my haste to take it apart I snapped an axle hub so waiting for macine shop parts. working on a hot rod hornet, donor car on route, building a rere bruiser, and waiting for a unimog, wheelie to arrive from tamiya usa bargain.........

Got my Blizter Beetle resurrected a few weeks ago so the plan for this year is to keep it running and keep on improving it, got some old wheels to restore and fit some road tyres to and I want to upgrade all the running gear so 2.4ghz radio and brushless.

Wouldn't mind another body to play with also.

Will be rebuilding my much used and abused Hornet shortly now it's hard running days are over
