Finally sort of getting around to making my falcon operational , currently hunting down some nice vintage futaba radio and the car itself will get a nice clean and of course this has me thinking ,which motor would suit this car.

I have looked at the manual and that doeant say which motor to go with ,are the black motors before its time or am i needing a technipower/tuned ? .

It has a correct silver can and i guess i could slap a sport tuned in her but i am a sucker for period hop ups...

The stock motor is the plastic white endbell Mabuchi RS540. Black and red Tamiya endbell motors might be one or two years prior to the Falcon's release, so you might want to use a Technituned, or the Technigold if you like upgrades. I think I'd go with the box stock motor for the 1986 Falcon, but that's just my opinion. ;)
