I asked this elsewhere but this seems like  a good place to ask too.

 

Think there might be any clear window solutions? Im assuming printing wouldnt work, and would be too costly. But there must be a way. 

Some little side repeater lenses would be cool too.

I hope this doesn't sound too silly, but would simple lexan sheets work if one were to cut them out nice and precisely?? I realize the rear window can be a bit tricky, but there might be someone molding these windows in their own garage or workshop buried in the ground, to think, printing gold if you can make these parts that are unobtainable.

That, or maybe beg/peititon tamiya to do a run of clear. They have the moulds, surely they can run of a batch of 1000 windows or whatever. Its not like they need to tool up. They dont even need to dig out the moulds and set up. There already molding tinted. Just run the machine with clear for a run.

 

Worth setting up some kind of online petition, spreading the link around and e.mailing it to tamiya so they can see interest? How many people do we think even want clear windows?

Isn't someone making those? I also want some but I dont think Tamiya will listen. Plus, you will have all those guys complaining about the new glass dropping the price of the vintage glass and all that useless nonsense. I say rere everything.

Hey quick question, I notice there are 2 grilles on Shapeways for the Blackfoot? 1 says 4cm, which one should I be getting for the re-re?

Ignore that 4cm version. That was a custom one 4cm wider than stock. Just pulled it!
