Hi,

Quick thing. I want to buy a car on eBay Germany. I bid and won it the other night only to realise the seller won't accept PayPal, when I asked, he cancelled the sale and re listed it, with cash or direct bank transfer.

Is there anybody who I can PayPal the money too, then have them buy it on eBay and pay for it direct transfer and give him my address to send it too?

Hopefully that makes sense.

Cheers Paul.

I thought one of the stipulations on EBay was that you had to take paypal

That's what I thought, but I've heard that only companies need PayPal. Private sellers don't need it in Germany.

I have been dealing with people in Germany only taking payment by bank transfer, and it works fine. So shouldn't be an issue dealing with people not having Paypal.

Same here. Everything from RC parts, ZX6R 636 engine, motorcycle forks etc. Germans are generally very "ordnung muss sein", so with reasonable feedback, I have no problem with a bank transfer.

That's it, I was happy to sort a bank transfer but he cancelled it before I spoke.

Hopefully sorted now.
