Hi guy's I only have like 2 or 3 cars I do not run and have so many some could sit for months before they get out and get run again.

So I was wondering to preserve tires would it be a good Idea to coat them with something like thin silicone oil especially for the ones that are not getting used?

Anyone find anything that helps keep the tires in good shape.

THANKS

I would think the same methods employed on 1:1 cars would work.

Rise the wheels slightly off the ground, I am sure I have seen scale axle stands,

Every month or so spin the wheels so they are not sitting on the same spot, should be easy to remember just give them a spin when you dust,

Fit a set of old tyres, but probably not really the idea of a shelf queen

Hi Thanks I do have all my RC's lifted off there wheels...but the rubber tires are getting dry on some and this is why I asked about putting silicone oil on the tires may help keep them in better condition.
