Hi Guys

I recently picked up a bullhead. It's in ok condition and stock. It will be a basher for my son, so I do not want to spend a lot on it and I will resist buying hop-ups when necessary.

I checked and it needs bearings, so I will order them. It will just run the silver cans that are in there at the moment, I will pop in an esc and run it with nimhs / lipos.

Any other tips?

Also does anyone have a spare battery part (the box bit that holds the battery in the middle of the chassis, it seems to be missing one.

Cheers

I'd install the chassis strengthening plates for the servo and link arms if its an original (think these were part of the re-release).

Other than bearings its probably wise to keep power to stock levels given the height of the hard body. You can move the ball stud on the steering linkage for the rear inwards by a screw hole which will reduce the rear steer effect, reducing risks of rollovers ;)
