A friend has a Team Associated RC10GT Nitro truck she inherited from a lost friend. Its been sitting in this guys parents garage for at least 10 years if not longer. The guy left behind a son that might become interested in this truck at a later date. So for now, she's wondering what she should do with it.

So my question to you all is: what should she do with it???

I told her to take it to our local RC shop and have them clean it, and then moth-ball it for long term storage, to save for a later date. But I'm not sure its even worth saving???

What do you guys think???

that's a tough one, for someone not interested in that truck it's not worth the cost, as motor is most likely seized, and the bearings could be shot, tyres have probably dried out, lots of cash in those alone, but for someone that is interested in that truck, it could be extremely good value.

My advice, sell it to a collector, let them do the resto, use the cash from the sale to get a nice electric setup for the friends son if the son shows an interest in RC cars.
