MSC question

Hiya's,

I recently got a pair of new built models (Baja Champ & Stadium Blitzer) neither cam with motors. I have a few stock ROAR type rebuildable 27 turn types like the green machine. Will these smoke the stock Tamiya MSC??

27 turns wouldnt cause too much heat, but still avoid driving long in 1st or 2nd speed...

The motors should be fine, especially if you are just backyard bashing. If you run on the lower speeds or really hammer the MSC with lots of hard acceleration, such as racing on a tight track, can break the MSC. What usually happens though is that the solder under the board melts and the wires come off the contacts. Just unscrew the MSC and solder the wires back into place.
