Using a buggy on Tarmac

I was thinking a set of Aqroshot wheels would be my best bet for use on tarmac, but I think they would need longer axles. I want to use the local BMX track and don't want to wear out my Neo Fighter wheels (Schumacher mini-spikes on the front, gurt big spikes on the rear for grass) as they wear really quick on the road. Does anyone have a hard wearing tarmac tyre recommendation? Something I could easily get on eBay out of preference, don't mind using hong kong £10 pre-glued specials.

Tamico has them cheap if you are buying other things

Proline road rage or road hawg if you can get them in suitable sizes to suit your requirements. Or Traxxas Anaconda are pretty durable, here on the front of my old Bear Hawk..

Another vote for this... I use Hawg IIs on my rear and Striker IIs on my front... When they wear out, I'll probably get another set of Proline tires... Not sure which, but whatever looks the coolest at that moment probably...

I've used all of those on tarmac for DT-02 and Bear Hawk models

Traxxas Anacondas - great on tarmac, lousy on dirt

Pronline Dirt Hawgs - pretty good on tarmac and OK but not great on dirt - beware of traction roll over on tarmac when still new though!

Carsons - pretty good all around and the best looking IMO

I like the look of those Carson wheels for my DT-02 and 03!

I have 2 sets of part worn tyres that I use on tarmac, saving the spikes for the rough stuff!

Not sure if you're looking to run wide tires at all 4 corners a la Aqroshot but if you are, you could run these C2 compound Duratrax Banditos:

To be fair the ones it came with on the front would be fine for tarmac, they are sod all use on grass and mud. So rears only will be perfect.
