Continuing with my retro/modern mix I decided to throw in an Aurora 14-2 brushed 540 and a Castle Sidewinder 3 ESC. Way, too, fast. I just plugged it into the castle link and dialed it down to 75%. 75% max throttle and 25% brake seems good to go! I took the ugly flames off the nose too...

I’ve been using a Axial 27T brushed in my wife’s Tomahawk and it’s plenty fast with a 2s lipo. It’s not much slower than my Optima with a 13.5T and nimh battery.
