Alloy tie-rods for lunchbox

Trying to do as many alloy upgrades to my lunchbox since my kid is pretty rough with it... Anybody know where I can find alloy front steering tie-rods for it? I'm finding it very confusing to find specific parts (nobody makes one?) or a generic part (nobody lists tie-rod lengths unfortunately.) Anybody have experience knowing a kit that'll work?

I think alloy tie rods would probably be weaker than the existing steel ones, unless they are 4mm dia +. Your best bet is to use 3mm steel rods from another model. Then you'll need some up sized track rod ends and ball joints as well, but there are suitable ball joints and track rod ends out there in the Tamiya parts bin.
