The iphone app is a bit more intuitive than the last iteration (which was worse than the one before IMO), so I'm pretty OK with the upgrades. There has always been a  mismatch of categories between the various ebay sites so perhaps this is a step towards commonality

Problem for me is that the categories assume I want to browse by "Part Type" e,g exhaust or radio gear and not vehicle type e.g.car or plane.  I also have to go to two totally different sections to review "Cars" and then "Parts"

I guess the theory is that you now use the filters to see only stuff related to cars rather than the categories which is what I always use as I trust amateur sellers to get the category correct more than the refinements!

Another look though proves they aren't reliable.  

Is this another situation where a site has been designed by the creators and not users!

If your looking for parts, use the Tamiya part number, (5 or 8 digit, if you have an old 7 digit number add a one at the start)
