New axial chassis on the way?

According to the interweb, this is Axial's new scaler, the SCX10 II
There's been rumours of one for a while now

No details yet, but here's a box shot apparently

Be interesting to see what the changes are.  Keeping up with improvements on the Vaterra Ascender, maybe?  The SCX-10 is already a great starting point for a scale chassis.

Any idea why they stopped making kits?.

I guess the SCX10 kits sold out first so they only have RTR versions left.
They still make kit versions of the Yeti/Score and Spawn

Got to see the SCX10 II in the flesh today at the Recon G6 meet

Axial UK painted it up to make the individual 'sub assemblies' stand out a bit more, the production model will be predominately black

IIRC, the diff covers and the shock mounts on the axles will be moulded in red

 

The battery tray will accept NiMh stick packs and LiPo blocks, there's adjustable stops to prevent the battery moving about.

Receiver box has same waterproofing seals as the Yeti/Score truck (possibly others)

I regretted selling my scx10, but I had to let it go when times were a bit tight. Hoping I can pony up for one of these in the near future 😊
