Stella seem to have very little stock these days esp on Tamiya and one thing I did order recently which showed as in stock turned out to be out of stock so I was refunded. 

Are they winding up / scaling back the business? 

No longer competitive shipping to the uk at any rate, where the main uk sellers are cheaper now due to weakening £.

I ordered 2 and they have both arrived on different days fortunately as the wife only saw one of them.  I see I have missed the release of more of the gt2 Porsches also so hit buy now on Stella at $114.90 which I think is a good price. Being down under in NZ we do spend a bit for shipping of circa $50 per kit ( all values US of course). I have a couple of nib carbon fibre chassis plates stashed away and silver gearboxes. For the 934. Thanks also to Shodog for the link to the wheels - waiting for them to arrive. I was going to buy a Blackfoot but that will have to wait a while.

They will be essentially the same, so all the other parts will fit. Although you will need to mod a prop shaft

I could do a set of these decks.

Yes, the temptation is strong with this one.

I think this is the only TA02 kit to ever be released with the FRP chassis? Closest is Top Force and Evo IIRC.

I believe so! I fought the urge, its back in the closet tucked away.

I'm still waiting for mine - for once I pre-ordered through a uk retailer as increasingly customs seem to be stopping kits from the Far East and adding a hefty levy. I heard that the UK importer is waiting to get their complete allocation (presumably coming on a boat) before distributing to any of the retailers. What a pain!!  Would have been quicker and probably slightly cheaper to get one from Germany.

Sounds like i need to sell this overseas..............lol

Weird.... wonder if they'll get their own anniversary vehicle??

There could be any number of reasons why this is an export only kit.  Possibly that they didn't want the home market breaking the kits to sell them as spares.

I'm not complaining.  I was able to get a spare body set fairly cheaply

HAH! I only have one kit so i wont be selling it at all unless its some outlandish sum of money

slowly making progress. Painting up the wing takes the most time.  Primer, Base of gun metal, Finish coat of translucent red. I sprayed 5 coats of clear, flat sanding between the third fourth and fifth coat. Taped it all off and shot Matt black.  Well pleased with how the clear coats get it close to the shine of the body.

I got mine shipped to the US from Germany in 5 days. For less than I can buy it here for shippe . I hear a second or third one calling me to buy it or them.  It's been a good week I may order another.
