Making body posts

I have a couple of projects on the go that require custom body mounts.

 

I have tried every combination on stock ones and am still out of luck so I need to fabricate some.

 

Any clever ideas or short cuts? I have looked at the magnetic invisible mounts but one project is soft shell so do not think they will work

What are putting on what?

I've had similar problems but have found a Tamiya post to fit in all but 2 projects.

I put tg10 posts on a ta02 so I could mount a focus shell and tl01 mount extender's on a m04 for a fiat 500 shell.

can't work out how to sort my ta06 yet mind!

Stadium Blitzer on a DT-03. Tub is far to narrow for normal posts and needs packing out

City Turbo on a MF-01. Close but just not quite right. Can you magnetic on this one I think

Have you tried turning posts through 90deg to have them poking out of the back of the bodyshell instead? I did that with my 306 Maxi to avoid making holes in the cockpit set.

Just had a good rummage through my spares and found these! I have a few of each if there any use to you? You may have them already.
