Hello all:

Long time since I've posted. I am working on a Holiday Buggy and running into a problem with the suspension parts. Here's what going on. On the rear of the car, there are two wishbone suspension parts for both the left and right. I recently received two replacements because the others where cracked. I purchased two more parts to replace these and cracked these as well while assemblying the car. Is it just age thats catching up with these parts? Does anyone have a good way to reinforce these from breaking?

I think those grey parts have brittled with age.

Someone was kind enough to send me a free (new!) rear body mount for my Holiday Buggy which came without one. I couldn't even mount it without the mounting tabs breaking off as soon as I bent the tabs to fit them in the chassis. I made it work (and grateful for the freebie), but the tabs are gone.

Same person also gave me the big grey part in the back where the gears fit. It also feels brittle. My old existing grey parts are fine. No cracks and not brittle. Maybe it has something to do with the way they were stored. Sunlight or himidity or something.
