Losi Hydra Drive

I have managed to purchase a new losi Hydra Drive for my JRX2.

I have instructions and setup info, but no Hydra fluid.

 

Looking online some people recommend 10,000 wt silicon shock oil, others 120 wt.

 

Is there anything else I can use as a replacement?

 

I can only find one seller on US ebay with some fluid, and they don't post to oz

 

Can anyone with some experience with the Hydra chime in with some info please

Hey Snappy.

I used my new Losi XX buggy with Hydra Drive fitted at our bumpy track at Boondal yesterday and it was marginal better putting the power down with the Hydra drive fitted.

 

To answer your question I think anything around the 10,000 to 15,000 wt would be on the mark.

I have bought some 10,000 wt, just need to fill it.

Is it easier to open it right up to fill it ?

I think the losi XX instructions will be the best bet.

 

Mr XW is going through the same thing. He just bought a Hydra Drive for his XXT for a rough blown out track at Boondal and has been told to start with 10k oil too.
