Just swapping motors in my Hummer and after removing the pinion gear from the old motor I realised I didn't measure the distance from the motor the gear is set to!!

Looking in the manual you'd use part b3 as a spacer to set the gear, which I don't have, anyone know the distance or the thickness of part b3?

Remove the upper gearcover, mount the motor with the pinion gear, mount the spurgear and check.

If it is no good move the pinion gear and check again. When you did find the reght position measure it or create your own spacer for the next time.

Always use steel pinon gears.
