Hi all,
After deciding to return the Wild Willy to its donor (see vintage section), it's been recommended that a Mad Bull is a good choice for a first Tamiya build.
The buggy will be for a 5 year old (maybe it's a bit old for him, I know) so it needs to be robust, durable, easy to drive and not so fast that it can be easily destroyed; I guess the battery lasts longer will be more useful th
So it seems you didn't need to cut the front shock towers to clear the rod ends or ball ends, as many others still had to?
If that's the case, then you did a great job. I'd like to do the same, since the heat shrink tubing on my Mad Bull's steering rod gets loose over time, making the steering sloppy again.
