Hah! I think I'll compile a list of what is known to work on the original post so people can turn to this for answers vs searching through the threads

I know this is an old thread but I feel like i should respond. I'm sorry about the Rock Buster Body. I've never had an issue using this product on Tamiya bodies but I have never tried it on any other brands.

I did an re-re Grasshopper body and an original Blackfoot body without any issues. The paint came right off without any fuss and no softening of the plastic. This has been my go to product now for a couple of years. I'm not sure what happened.

Gotcha its fine I was able to score another body that I'll be painting once it warms up. I'll look later if the body says what material type it is.
