I'm needing a new 3s lipo the same size or smaller than the orion rocket sport, but more C's any ideas anyone? (Those small 2s lipo's are on the list though, just jump straight to 4s? 🤔) 

Holiday season plus a daily that failed it's MOT (jobs I've been meaning to do but didn't get time! 😔) has left a speed run on the back burner atm.

You've got the perfect motor and a pile of 120amp ESC's, if you don't have one you just need a touring car chassis that will allow for low ratio gearing and your in.  You could easy smash 90Mph bud

Wouldn't know where to start with this as a new to me chassis and not got much free time to investigate it... TA05 still current for the essential parts? I saw your having a mare getting some part for your TA03, is that cos its older?

I also ran the FF03 and got exactly the same speed as before (75.6Mph). I added 20% boost on full throttle and it looks promising but I damaged the front tyres and had to call it quits for the day.

I got the motor and ESC I ordered for it yesterday, the Monster X is huge!

I'm going to work on my HCT top speed first lol.. Jase currently holds the record at 14.9mph.

Then I'll get back to the race to 100 with the TRF or TA04, a;though with that monster...I reckon Dougo will be there first!

In terms of scale speed, your car is now doing mach1.11, faster than the current world land speed record .............

I was thinking about this earlier...

The main issue I had years ago with brushed was the temperatures and lack of torque to use bigger pinions

Actually it's not a bad idea to review it from time to time.. I don't see the overall top 10 changing too much now with the bar being set so high... it might freshen it up to have different categories running alongside it now.

Let the suggestions commence, those with traction will be considered so please don't be offended if your suggestion doesn't make it

I think just a Brushed category, my speed entry shows how easy it is to get a cheap brushless set up in to silly speeds.

Brushed would bring up some interesting results, and its not anything i've really had much experience in, could just about afford a  2nd hand stock Lunchbox as a kid

Yeah I think a brushed category is a good idea, should help keep costs down.....a bit!

I'd consider a brushed category a necessity if you don't want the thread to go stale. We are now at the stage we're we need purchase specific equipment, not just what's in the toy cupboard!
