That's good value for money, only trouble is I will need to a 4S LiPo to it as well.

Managed to get mine a bit cheaper too (Not by much)

Finding a place to fit all those cells is going to be the problem 😁

Speed Run Entry

HCT

3900KV BrushlessĀ

3s Lipo

20t Pinion (Stock Gears)

35kph/21.7mphĀ

(Speed run halfway through this Video)

Had loads of fun with this today, although it's got a few battle scars now! I guess the low gearing is keeping the speed down, acceleration is ridiculous, even with the ESC on 'Soft'. Ā I might try my 120a ESC, the 45a one has not given me decent results in any of my cars. Although i'll only do it for a speed run, this thing needs no more speedĀ

I just made an order to Amain for some 48P spur gears and matching pinions. I have decided to dedicate my TT02 chassis for speed runs. I am going to run NiMh just to see what I can achieve, and then move on to LiPo. Does this sound like an interesting idea or have I had too much to drink?Ā

At least it outran the bullhead . Are we running 1 car per person for the silver can list, or can we have multiple entries ? If so, can you add my Jugg2 entry at 22kph on page 11 (It's already in the 4wd list).

Also, I think this is going to be a popular category, so can we make it a top 20 plz ?

Even it will be popular it will be good to see lots of new cars being entered ( across the Tamiya range) so you can enter more than one car.. going to enter your Jugg2 now, ignore my PM to you I found it ;)

Just checking, silver can doesn't include torque tuned does it? Just that a lot of kits come with torque tuned these days.

I need one of those 1060 escs and a 3s, reckon the Novafox will give it a good nudge

No I don't think so Jonathon... theĀ Torque Tuned and Sport Tuned are supposedly faster than silver cans ( many discussions on whether they are or aren't according to no of turns) so to keep it simple... just silver cans.

Note to all entrants Ā - Do not peel off the Torque Tuned sticker to make it look like a regular old silver canl.... I'll be watching... not sure how to check it but I'll be watching lol.

Where do you find them? Ebay have a few, banggood have them and so does RCMart, are they known for being copied and having a lot of fakes out there?

I suspect some silver cans will be faster than torque tuned, who knows whats inside that silver can without a sticker to tell you?Ā

I think it's the detail that's going to make it interesting, finding a good one.Ā I'm guessing with it being cheap mass produced, some are more closer to blueprint than others!Ā

Jason...

You put my HCT in the Silver Can list... it's brushless RWD ;)Ā

Ā

Not sure I've said it in the past, but good work on keeping the ever changing list current! Must take up quite a bit of your Forum timeĀ B)

I ran the 418Ā today but just some gentle test pulls to get some log data as IĀ was worried about motor temps. Ā The logs lookĀ good and it drives lovely soĀ IĀ plan top go back out on Tuesday and give it hammering :)Ā

I did have an awesome few runs with my FF03Ā and set a new front wheel drive and 2s record. Chuffed to bits as IĀ never thought it would go so fast when IĀ started working on it, it could be the fastestĀ FF03 in the worldĀ :ph34r:Ā  Anyway...

      Hi Jon,
In the linked image, I've simply moved the bar forward until it is centered directly over the rear shock tower (approx. 10.72mm) and kept the same height. Ā Is this what you had in mind?
