I just clicked "But It Now" on a LaTrax Teton...  

My stomach is queasy, my hands shake, and beer doesn't taste right...

My only consolation is that its for the kid of my wife's BFF, and that I don't have to taint this house with that "thing"...

You know, I went through similar symptoms when I finally broke down a bought an Emaxx. The only way I could do it was to buy a used one so (in my mind) I wasn't putting money directly into Traxxas's hands. If I bought one new, I might be in therapy now. I still won't be seen in public with it. In your situation, time (and possibly beer) will ease the symptoms. Hang in there.

I always get this close to buying a Traxxas 18th scale rally, then never do buy it.   That said, nothing against them.   I have cars/buggies from HPI, Sakura/3Racing, Associated, XRay, and used to own a Vaterra & an ECX.   But Tamiya just has so much more to offer.
