Can someone tell me what my 1981 Sand Rover and 1982 Toyota Hilux 4x4 are worth?

Both need some work/restoration to make mint.

Both have original radio gear nad Hilux has the box.

You'll never get a serious answer to that kinda post, there's not a true value, although the guys are only messing about, send them to me and I'll look after ya []

Your best bet as they say, is to have a look at current and completed auctions on ebay, and see if anything in a similar condition has sold recently.

Another good idea is to try and get some pics posted here, and let people throw their wallets at you.

No they are really not worth that much, to a TC member the Hilux will probably be worth 25 USD including shipping, as for the Sand Rover , how much would you be willing to pay in case I decide to take it off your hands...., just kidding, check Ebays Completed items, that will give you a fair estimate of what to expect,

To answer your question, I'd say the Sand Rover would be worth around approx $250-300USD, and your hilux approx. $600-$800USD.

Thanx for the info on the SR and Hilux.

They are both on ebay at the moment but I was getting silly offers like £40 ($75?) for the SR and £150 ($280?) for the hilux.[8)]

I honestly did not realise RC models such as these had such a cult following[:I]
