Hi,

I have noticed lately there are a few vintage cars being sold on EBAY but the seller is in the USA but shipping out of Japan for example.

I dont understand how this works ,has anyone had any bad luck buying from these sellers?

There is one selling stuff for $48.10 from china , that's a top force , then others NIB's as well .

All the same price of $48.10 or there abouts . ?? . I might think they are using an APN ? to change IP?

Possibility , But i have seen in the last few days , wrong pic's for what they say it is . New dog bones , but pic

shows shocks of example . Not sure if it's Ebay or me . So this could be the same problem .

FB , has had some odd stuff , had a mate that lives in Aus , But it put him in USA .

The internet is broken   i think :P

Quite often the Chinese / Asian sellers use local people in the relevant countries as a placeholder for drop shipping and to deal with import duties / onward shipping etc.

This may be a business or often a relative or known colleague.

Other times it's due to VPN location or for the disingenuous sellers simply a lie and they ship remotely.

Some of the big chinese sellers in the uk for example state local shipping but 7 day delivery. With enough sales volume, they drop ship to their local presence with bulk orders on expedited shipping. I.e. you order Wednesday, ships from China that evening with a load of other items in the same container (expedited air freight) all with the correct forwarding address / pre paid post lables on and customs pre cleared. Arrives Mon/Tues and the local distributor re-posts.
